An estimate of the total time it could reasonably be expected for a learner to achieve a qualification. TQT includes Guided Learning Hours (GLH) plus an estimate of the time a learner is likely to spend in preparation, study or other learning activities as directed by but not under the immediate guidance of a lecturer, supervisor, or tutor.
Why are we changing to TQT?
Ofqual have published new General Conditions of Recognition which require us as an Awarding Organisations to take a consistent approach in determining the level and describing the size of our regulated qualifications.

What will you see?
Addition of TQT information to Awards Online and qualification specifications applied to all Cskills Awards qualifications.
Which qualifications will be affected and when will the change take place?
All qualifications within Performance Tables or those attracting UCAS Points will show TQT and GLH by 30 June 2016.
When will the changes to the other qualifications take place?
All other NVQ and Training qualifications that are not in the performance tables will show TQT and GLH by 31 December 2017.
