Training Facilities

The college has around 8 acres of well equipped training area with plenty of open and covered space.

Facilities included a new purpose built scaffolding training space, available foe use all year round. Lecture rooms are also well equipped with modern audio visual aids.

160 candidates can train at any one time across a wide range of courses at any one time. All courses are run by experienced, qualified instructors all of who have worked in the construction industry.

Training

The subjects covered at the National Construction College South fall into 4 main categories:

Plant	Including operation and maintenance of heavy equipment
Scaffolding	Covering all types of scaffolding and levels of skill
Roofing	Covering roof slating and tiling and built up felt roofing
Floor Laying	Covering the fitting of carpeting, tiles, underlays and vinyl for commercial purposes
