Working with higher education

The National Construction College is increasingly working with partners to deliver courses for graduates and undergraduates. Graduate programmes are developed in association with their employing companies and over the past few years we have delivered programmes with Kier, Mowlem, Sir Robert McAlpine, Costain and Willmott Dixon.

The aim of these programmes is to give graduates practical experience of working on site and to ensure they are not only safe, competent and knowledgeable but also that they will be able to implement their technical training to maximum effect.

Several Universities, including Leeds, Imperial and Portsmouth, use the National Construction College to deliver part of their undergraduate Civil Engineering degree programmes. The undergraduates gain practical experience in areas such as surveying and setting out, and management of construction projects.

For more information in how the National Construction College can add value to your graduates and/or undergraduates please call 0844 8440466
