Employment in Construction Industry

If you have received the “Employment in Construction Industry” survey through the post, we need your help.

Why do you need it?

In order to ensure that strategy and related initiatives deliver tangible and meaningful outcomes it is important that CITB has good, detailed and up-to-date Labour Market Intelligence (LMI), including detailed data on the construction workforce.

What’s involved?

The information we need is really simple – we would like to know the number of employees, trainees and self-employed people at your organisation in a given week - the week commencing Monday 7th December 2015 (i.e. 7th - 13th December). The questionnaire will ask you about the number of people you have working for you in a number of different trades.
A token of our appreciation

In recognition of your time, for every questionnaire completed and returned we will donate £1 to your choice of three charities:

• The Lighthouse Club – a charity that supports construction workers and their families in times of stress. Find out more about their work at www.lighthouseclub.org.
• Crash – a UK construction and property industry charity for the homeless. Find out more about their work at http://www.crash.org.uk.
• The Construction Youth Trust – the trust runs a wide variety of programmes for young people from a diverse range of backgrounds who are interested in construction. Find out more about their work at http://www.constructionyouth.org.uk.
