Experience

You must have experience of: 

•  Relevant qualifications which can checked by review of portfolio 

• Training (Ceiling training, non-qualification, manufacturers training and systems specific training) which can checked by review of logbook 

• Various projects worked on which can checked by observation, photographic and videographic evidence 

• Testimony from clients/customers which can checked by professional discussion 

• Job description and role from employer which can checked by Q&A session 

• Written testimony from employer by professional discussion 

• Keeping up to with changes to manufacturers as built information (e.g. fire rated products and acoustic ratings) which can checked by research manufacturers training, Q&A 

• Setting out, installing, and repairing 3 of the following suspended ceiling systems: 

  • concealed or semi-concealed grid system 

  • ceiling rafts  

  • ceiling baffles 

  • linear strip ceilings 

  • bandraster or C-profile type ceilings 

• Installing three of the following additional components:  

  • service tiles 

  • style trims 

  • transition trims 

  • access panels 

  • secondary grids 

  • pattresses 

  • tile hold down clips 

  • insulation
