You must be able to:

ensure the structure into which the system is being installed is compatible with the tested scope of the fire rated door and is also suitably structurally sound
lift, level, balance and align fire-resisting door, shutter or curtain systems components during installation
install and commission an industrial, commercial, pedestrian, or residential fire-resisting door, shutter or curtain system
prepare and install a fire-resisting door, shutter, or curtain wiring system to the point of isolation
set up, connect and integrate control circuits for a fire-resisting door, shutter, or curtain system to specification and safe operating standards
adjust, test, verify and troubleshoot a fire-resisting door, shutter, or curtain systems' functionality and its safety components
carry out a residual risk assessment and complete any corrective actions required
record and report the installation process throughout for the golden thread
communicate when the equipment you are installing is connected to a fire protection or security system that requires additional specialist skills to achieve overall system compliance
communicate operational, safety, training and maintenance information to clients, customers, end users or their representatives
