This grant supports your employees' attendance on approved Site Safety Plus courses between 1 August 2016 and 31 July 2017. You receive the grant even if your employee fails their course.

If your employee needs more than one day of training to gain their qualification, you can claim for extra days if you meet the Site Safety Plus criteria. See Site Safety Plus scheme rules.
What the grant supports
This grant supports attendance on courses in the CITB Site Safety Plus range during the 2016 to 2017 grant scheme year.
The course must be run by a CITB-approved training centre. See a list of approved Site Safety Plus courses.
This is the only grant that supports attendance on Site Safety Plus courses. You cannot get support for these courses through the training and development plan grant or the short duration training grant.

The deadline for submitting your claim is 31 October 2017.

How to claim if the training provider has your CITB registration number:
- We’ll send you a pre-completed grant claim form by post.
- Sign and return this to us at the address on the form.
How to claim if the training provider doesn't have your CITB registration number:
