Minimise the risk of damage

You must be able to:

  • comply with organisational procedures to minimise the risk of damage to the work and surrounding area by:

    • complying with health and safety regulations, standards and guidance

    • protecting and maintaining a safe working area

    • complying with environmental and sustainability regulations, standards, and guidance. Segregate resources for reuse, recycling and disposal.

    • identify if any further precautions need to be taken to protect structures of special interest, traditional construction, hard to treat buildings and historical significance
