Bedroom Installer - Install Fitted Furniture (FI001C)

You must be able to:

  • comply with the contract information to install bedroom units to the required specification by:

  • demonstrating work skills to:

    • measure

    • mark out

    • position

    • fit

    • secure

    • finish

    • repair and maintain

  • remove existing units and fitments ensuring the space is in the best possible condition for the new bedroom installation

  • prepare the following standard or specialist bedroom items to work instructions:

    • carcass and front frames

    • work surfaces, including cut outs for access and electrical points

    • encase services and heat-producing appliances such as water boilers and hot tanks

    • mouldings including internal and external corners by scribing, mitring and fixing

    • bedframes

    • sliding doors and rails

  • install the following standard or specialist bedroom items to work instructions:

    • carcass and front frames
