You must be able to:

prepare the following bathroom items to work instructions:
base and wall units
worktops, including cutouts for basins and taps
encasement of cisterns and heat-producing appliances such as water boilers and hot tanks
mouldings including internal and external corners by scribing, mitring and fixing
fixing of wall panels
waterproofing and tanking
sealing of exposed areas to ingress of moisture
install the following bathroom items to work instructions:
base and wall units
worktops, including cut outs for basins and taps
encasement of cisterns and heat-producing appliances such as water boilers and hot tanks
moulding including internal and external corners by scribing, mitring and fixing
wall panelling
waterproofing and tanking
You must know and understand:
how to remove existing units and fitments, ensuring that the space is in the best possible condition for the new bathroom installation
how to carry out a pre-fit inspection to ensure that all bathroom units and fitments can be installed with the required methods and techniques
how to assemble fitted bathroom furniture sequentially for the required fit and finish
the basic principles of carpentry which can be used when installing bathroom furniture which include:
the difference between natural and manufactured materials and how they should be handled accordingly
the types of adhesives that can be used depending on the material you are applying them to
the different types of fixing methods
the manufacturers specifications
how and why to form cut outs for products in worktops and fascia panels and the importance of accuracy for the required fit, finish and correct sealing exposed edges
how and why to encase services and heat-producing appliances
how and when to scribe, mitre and fix mouldings and ancillary products for installation, including dry fit methods and techniques
the needs of other occupations and trades associated with the removal of an existing bathroom and are part of the remedial work and make good activities to prepare a space for a new installation
the needs of other occupations and trades associated with the process of a new kitchen installation
the competency and legislative boundaries regarding capabilities and compliance with gas, electrics, water and waste whilst removing and installing bathrooms
how resources should be used and how any problems associated with the resources are reported in relation to:
timber
timber based sheet materials
plastics
resins
stone
ceramics
glass
hand and powered tools and equipment
digital equipment
cement based boards and composites
waterproof sheet material
sealants and adhesives
mouldings: timber, plastic, non-ferrous metal
electrical components
electrical zoning
associated fixings and fittings
water and waste fittings
water and waste pipe types
isolating water supply
protective tanking systems
lagging and insulation
