Taking the exam

Lasts 30 minutes
Requires a pass mark of 20 out of 25.
You can choose to take the exam:
Online using Pearson VUE remote invigilation
At a Pearson VUE test centre.
For online exams, you will need:
A desktop computer or laptop (mobile phones and tablets are not compatible)
A reliable internet connection
A webcam, speakers and microphone
Valid photographic ID (passport or UK/EU driving licence).
If you are aged 16–18, a parent or guardian must attend the exam check-in process.

Learners are limited to three exam attempts
The exam must be passed before your 12-month course access expires.
