Course content

The course includes:

  • Safety legislation and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations

  • Common hazards and how to avoid them

  • Safety precautions when using equipment

  • Unsafe practices while using equipment (DVD)

  • Safety equipment including gloves, goggles and hearing protection

  • Hygiene.
