This one-day course is designed for any type of client, commercial or otherwise, who needs to carry out construction projects. You will learn about your contractor responsibilities under the Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations 2015.

Course content

The course includes:

  • CDM 2015 overview and application

  • Duty holder appointments and responsibilities

  • Preparation of client briefs and pre-construction information

  • Construction phase plan requirements

  • Project notification requirements

  • Health and safety.

  • The legal position of the client

  • Duty holder roles such as Principal Contractor, Principal Designer, Contractors and Designers
