Small tools operation
Manual handling.
You’ll also study personal skills. These include:

Teaching and assessment
16 weeks of training over 18 months
Week 1: Induction
Weeks 2 to 15: Theoretical and practical training at NCC Scotland in two-week blocks.
Week 16: Final assessments
Assessment:
Written and practical assessments
Verbal questioning and presentations
Multiple-choice tests
College and site-based journals.

Academic requirements:
Entry L3 Maths and English
You’ll need to complete a skills learning exercise to help us assess your suitability for this course. Further tests at college are also possible.
General requirements:
Good level of physical fitness. This course includes strenuous physical activity.
Comfortable with heights.
Comfortable with working in confined spaces.
Comfortable wearing PPE/RPE.
Able to work to deadlines.
Valid form of ID. See accepted forms of ID.
