Health and Safety
Connection of services
Temporary works awareness
Dismantle the building
Planned and reactive maintenance
Hire inspections
Apply internal /external finishing
Insulation, fire stops and thermal values
Reconfigure and extend the unit
Prepare for transportation.

Teaching and assessment
18 weeks of training at NCC covering classroom-based theory and simulated site activities
The remaining time is spent with your employer, gaining experience on site
Assessment
Written and practical assessments (mapped Apprenticeship Standard)
A site visit by an assessor
Work-based evidence portfolio.
Entry requirements
Academic requirements:
While the need to study maths and English qualifications isn’t required for learners aged 19 and over, we believe these skills are important for success. That’s why we include industry-relevant maths and English lessons as part of our courses.
To make sure learners have the right skills to help them successfully achieve their apprenticeship programme, we ask for the below:
Level 2 Apprenticeship:
Maths and English GCSE grades 3-9 (the same as old grades D-A), or equivalent
If you don't have these grades, contact our team. We can help you explore your options.
General requirements:
Good level of physical fitness. Contact us if you’re unsure you meet these requirements.
Able to problem solve.
Able to work in teams.
Valid form of ID. See accepted forms of ID.
