What is this course about?
This one-day course is designed to support with understanding the potential risks and hazards that construction workers may face on site. It identifies everyone’s responsibilities for looking after themselves and others, outlines the employer’s duties, and explains what should be done if a worker thinks that anyone’s health and safety is being put at risk.

The course is an ideal foundation for those wishing to gain an industry card. It is also an alternative route to the QCF Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment for the CSCS Labourer Card. There are no formal entry requirements for this course, and it is suitable for all ability levels.

How long is the certificate valid for?
Certification for this course is valid for five years. To stay certified in this area, you will need to retake the course before the expiry date.
