This one-day course teaches Company Directors the human, economic and financial implications of not following health and safety legislations. Learn how to promote a positive health and safety culture within an organisation.

Course content

The course includes:

  • Leadership and worker engagement

  • Health and safety law

  • Risk assessments

  • Policy development

  • Monitoring and reviewing H&S performance

  • Action plans

  • Plan, Do, Check, Act.

Teaching and assessment

Group exercises and discussions

Learners will prepare an action plan for their workplace, including a health and safety checklist
