There are two courses within the Site Safety Plus suite specifically for site managers:

Site Management Safety Training Scheme Refresher (SMSTS-R)
What is this course about?
This two-day course is designed for existing site managers. It is designed to refresh everything learnt on the five-day course with up-to-date information about legal responsibilities; health and safety law; the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015; risk assessments; site setup; managing hazards; occupational health; and environmental issues.
Is this course right for me?
This course is for those who have previously passed the Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) course, or a previous refresher course.
What are the course aims?
The course aims to refresh the knowledge of existing construction site managers on how to:
Implement all health, safety, welfare and environmental legislation affecting daily work
Implement new guidance and industry best practice
State their duties and responsibilities relating to health, safety, welfare and the environment.
Are there any entry requirements?
To take this course, delegates are required to have previously completed the five-day SMSTS course.
Where can I take this course?
This course can be taken in a classroom or via remote delivery, whatever suits you best.
How long is the certificate valid for?
Certification for this course is valid for five years. To stay certified in this area, you will need to retake the course before the expiry date.
