There are two courses within the Site Safety Plus suite specifically for temporary works co-ordinators:
The two-day Temporary Works Co-ordinator Training Course (TWCTC)
The one-day Refresher Course (TWCTC-R)
What is this course about?
This one-day course is designed to help those who have responsibility for managing all forms of temporary works on site.
The refresher course expects the same underpinning knowledge and understanding to be demonstrated by learners as in the two-day TWCTC course.
Is this course right for me?
This course is for those who have previously passed the TWCTC or a subsequent refresher course.
What are the course aims?
The course aims to refresh the knowledge of existing TWCs, to enable them to:
Implement all health, safety, welfare and environmental legislation affecting daily work
Implement new guidance and industry best practice
State their duties and responsibilities with regards to health, safety, welfare and the environment.
Are there any entry requirements?
Delegates are required to have previously completed the TWCTC or TWCTC-R in the last five years.
Where can I take this course?
This course can be taken in a classroom or via remote delivery, whatever suits you best.
How long is the certificate valid for?
Certification for this course is valid for five years. To stay certified in this area, you will need to retake the course before the expiry date.
