Digital technology has the potential to transform construction – but adoption of positive change has been slow. Tech-specific skills aren’t the problem – but broader skills and competencies at various levels need to be addressed.

This report shows how modern technologies can raise productivity, increase efficiency and help attract people to the sector. Without widespread digital adoption, construction risks being marginalised and losing a generation of new talent to other sectors. Although produced in 2018, the circumstances of the industry have changed little and so much of the opportunity presented in the report remains relevant today.
