Project summary

This project forms part of CITB’s Specialist Upskilling Programme, designed to address skills shortages in specialist construction sectors where limited training provision, smaller workforce size or sector-specific barriers restrict access to upskilling opportunities.

The purpose of the project is to engage employers and enable access to upskilling training that:

• Supports construction employers to develop and upskill their workforce

• Enables access to and uptake of sector-specific NVQs

• Addresses specialist skills shortages and workforce challenges

• Contributes to CITB’s wider skills and competence objectives

• Improves workforce competence and resilience across specialist sectors.
