The Manse Skills Academy - Withdrawn

The project will deliver a bespoke skills academy in the east end of Glasgow. This facility will have a range of activities delivered on the premises, which will include SVQ level 2 roofing & tiling award, a new learning module developed in partnership with CITB and our local college. The Academy will be able to respond to training GMG registered apprentices at very short notice, ie when the weather is inclement and they are sent off site.

• Develop new learning modules and deliver to 30 roofing apprentices per year, through a mix of skills academy training and on site assessment.
• 20 new entrant L2 Roofing SVQs; train & certificate 10 operatives to install Solar Photovoltaic panels.

This project was not completed as expected. No funding was claimed in line with the Funding Agreement; The project was formally terminated by CITB in March 2019
