The deadline to book free Roofing and Brickwork industry Masterclasses is approaching. Expert-led Masterclasses, delivered by NHBC building inspectors, are currently available to book until 30 September 2026.

There's also another chance to book our Dry Lining Masterclass, which returns with an updated funded model.

How to book

This is your last chance to secure fully funded training for Roofing and Brickwork Masterclasses before 30 September 2026.

Dry Lining Masterclasses cost £645 but can be funded by CITB if eligible.

What the Masterclasses cover

Our Masterclasses explore the most common issues found by NHBC building inspectors. They cover best practice, with practical suggestions for improved quality and standards.

Roofing Masterclass

  • Underlay and battens and roofing components

  • Mortar

  • Fire stopping

  • Condensation control/ventilation

  • Weathering and flashings

  • Fixing of slates and tiles

  • Wet and dry verges and valleys

  • Dry/ventilated ridges.

Brickwork Masterclass

  • Cavity wall construction

  • Cavity insulation

  • DPCs and cavity trays

  • Cavity barriers

  • Timber frame

  • Sound insulation.

Dry Lining Masterclass

Who the Masterclasses are for

  • Roofing: Subcontractors working in trades that construct roofs

  • Brickwork: Subcontractors working in trades that carry out brickwork

  • Dry Lining: Subcontractors working as a plasterer or dry liner.

  • Dry Lining Masterclasses return with an updated funding model, which may require employer contribution. Sessions cost £645 but can be funded by CITB.
