Course content

The course includes:

  • HS&E obligations when locating underground services

  • Locating services in a working area

  • Working near live buried services

  • Identifying symbols and codes on utility plans

  • What to do in an emergency.

Teaching and assessment

  • Classroom learning

  • Theory test

  • Assessment by observation.

What you get

EUSR Category 1 Certificate

Entry requirements

  1. Reasonable mobility.

  2. Ability to lift and move loads.

  3. Good spoken and written English.

  4. Valid form of ID. See accepted forms of ID.
