What is this course about?
This one-day awareness level course is designed to introduce learners to health and safety in the tunnelling environment. Delegates will learn how to be aware of the hazards and risks associated with a tunnelling environment, and common tunnelling methods. This course is purely theoretical in its delivery and assessment.

This course is for those involved in the tunnel construction industry as a member of the workforce, to help with understanding a variety of different health and safety aspects of the industry, the associated working environment and some of the potential hazards of working on a tunnelling site.

Certification for this course is valid for five years. To stay certified in this area, you will need to retake the course before the expiry date.
