This two-day course is for Site Supervisors. It explains your legal responsibilities regarding health, safety, welfare and environmental issues.

Course content

The course includes:

  • The Health and Safety at Work Act

  • Regular issues affecting site supervisors

  • Effective toolbox talks

  • Supervision of occupational health

  • Behavioural safety.

Teaching and assessment

Classroom-based group work and discussion, case studies, presentations and homework

Multiple-choice exam

You must attend all 15 hours as per the Site Safety Plus attendance requirements

What you get

CITB Renewable Site Safety Plus Certificate. This must be renewed every five years by passing the SSSTS Refresher course before your certificate expiry date.

The price also includes publications, registration, certification, lunch and refreshments.

Entry requirements

  1. Good spoken and written English.

  2. Valid form of ID. See accepted forms of ID.

  3. Employers enrolling employees on weekend courses must reimburse them for their time.
