Shortlist announced for the Top 100 Most Influential Women in Construction 2025
The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) today announces the shortlist for the Top 100 Most Influential Women in Construction Awards 2025. Returning for the fourth year, the awards continue to highlight the significant contributions of women from across the construction industry and showcase women in the sector in order to make role models more visible and accessible.

CITB confirms major investment in National Construction College sites
CITB today announced a significant investment in the National Construction College (NCC) at Erith and other NCC sites. This investment will create substantial value for the construction industry through an expanded training offer, outstanding teaching, learning and support, and beacon leadership across the wider training sector.

CITB achieves Consensus for its 2026-29 Levy Proposals
The results show that 67% of construction employers are in support of CITB’s Levy plans – improving on the 2021 Consensus results. Additionally, 12 out of the 14 Prescribed Organisations are in agreement with the Levy Proposals.

CITB’s specialist New Entrant Support Team helps over 4,000 apprentices join the industry in 2024-25
The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) has today released its year-end figures for its New Entrant Support Team (NEST). The figures show that NEST supported 4,128 apprenticeship starts in the financial year 2024-25, an increase from 2,340 the previous year.
