Learn at your own pace, anytime, anywhere

Online courses are ideal for anyone who finds it difficult to find a convenient time or place to attend a classroom training course, either in person or remotely, and studying online means you can learn at your own pace, anytime, anywhere.

All you need is a computer, internet access and a few hours to study and take the examination.

  1. Select your course and pay online – you can buy a course for yourself, or employers can buy a voucher for employees to use when they’re ready to begin the course.
  2. Create an account
  3. Log in and start training

Please note: Employers - don’t forget to add your Levy Number to be able to claim grant for Grant-eligible courses.

Fire safety awareness in construction and the built environment

This level 1 (awareness) course is designed for any­one look­ing to devel­op their under­stand­ing of fire safety in the workplace, with a specific focus on the  construction industry.

The course is split into 3 modules:

  • Detection and protection
  • Escape and consequences

Fire safety in buildings

This level 1 (awareness) course has been developed in partnership with Build UK and fire industry experts and is designed to improve an individual’s knowledge of fire safety measures in buildings. The course is suitable for anyone working in the design, construction, or maintenance of buildings, with a specific focus on installers.

The course is split into 5 modules:

  • Grenfell
  • Materials
  • Fire protection
  • Competence
  • Installation

Certification lasts 5 years.
