What You Can Get Funding or Grants For?
We offer support to industry through our grants and funds. CITB grants cover day to day training and our funds cover specific projects and commissions.
Environmental policy
CITB recognises we have a global climate emergency and that we must take action, amongst other interventions, to limit future global greenhouse gas emissions to help restrict future changes in the climate system.
Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) course
This SMSTS course is for project managers, site managers and supervisors, business owners and clients. You will gain an understanding of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues on construction sites.
Infrastructure Development Programme
The project will develop a sustainable model for specialist infrastructure training provision, creating a structured framework that allows employees in the sector to develop the core skills that they require to operate in key roles in the sector
Basic Competency Programme
The project will address the roofing industry training needs by bringing together the main roofing industry stakeholders, the 12 regional roof training groups and 11 major roofing trade associations to develop and roll out a basic competency
