The purpose of this standard is to provide the delegate with the knowledge to support the following:
understanding of the Code of Practice Design Recommendations. correct use of welding equipment.
correct use of equipment to fabricate and install decorative sheet roofing. how to prepare Spire or Dome with underlay including joints & panels. how to install herringbone pattern with hollow rolls. how to install herringbone pattern with wood cored rolls. how to install welt joints & fixings. how to install hollow rolls, wood core rolls & welted joints to barrel vaulted roof with ridge & hip details. correct way to fabricate rainwater pipe & box hopper. preparing patterns before casting. Understanding of the regulations when working on heritage buildings or within conservation areas. lead casting simple embellishments using sand box technique. correct way to recycle waste materials.

Steelfixing introduction
