Formwork apprenticeship course
This apprenticeship course is for people who want to gain an academic qualification in formwork, while gaining professional experience. Formworkers shape wood, metal and other materials, which become moulds into which concrete or similar materials
Short-period qualification grant
We pay grants for the achievement of approved short-period qualifications which take less than one year to complete that are focussed on the core construction skills needed across the industry.
CPCS Slinger/signaller A40 (4 days)
This 4 day course is for people with limited or no experience of slinging and signalling, who want to gain entry into the lifting industry. On passing the technical tests, we will apply for the CPCS trained operator card (red card) on your behalf.
Deducting levy from wages (both PAYE and Net CIS)
Although the 1996 Employment Rights Act permits deductions from earnings in certain circumstances, under the 1982 Industrial Training Act, CITB is the only organisation authorised to impose and collect CITB levy from employers in the industry.
