Scheduled system outage – service downtime information

Pearson Vue, our test supplier, will undergo a scheduled system outage from Friday 11 October to Monday 14 October. During this time, Online Examinations for HSA/SMETS and the HS&E booking journey will be unavailable. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Why are your services down?

Pearson Vue, our exam delivery partner, are conducting systems maintenance which will result in improved agility, reliability, scalability, and higher availability of the business systems. To ensure a successful upgrade the services need to be taken offline.

Can I still take my HS&E test during the outage weekend?

You will still be able to sit your test at your chosen test centre on Saturday 12 October as long as it has been booked prior to the downtime that commences on Friday 11 October at 7pm.

Can I reschedule or cancel my HS&E test?

You will be unable to reschedule or cancel your test during the downtime as you will not have access to your account.

Can I still sit my online exam for HSA or SMETS?

The online exams for HSA and SMETS will not be available during the outage window.

Can I log on and complete eCourses/eLearning?

Yes, the eCourses platform is still available for courses and learning; online examinations for HSA and SMETS will not be available during the outage window.

Can I still sit my HSA test in a test centre during the outage weekend?

You will still be able to sit your test at your chosen test centre on Saturday 12 October as long as it has been booked prior to the downtime that commences on Friday 11 October at 7pm.
