Internet Test Centre (ITC) applications on hold (updated 10 May 2017)

Further to the ITC application hold of 25th November 2016, CITB have made the decision to keep the hold until December 2017 at the earliest.

The on-going review across the whole of the current testing estate and processes is integral to ensuring that CITB have the correct number of tests centres in the right geographical location to meet current and future testing demands for the construction industry.

CITB will not be taking on any new applications during the review period and would ask that any company that is looking to become an ITC to come back to the CITB centre page in August 2017 for further updates.

Please note: applications to become a centre for other CITB products such as: CPCS, Site Safety Plus, Short Courses and Be Fair Framework are still open.

CITB logo to replace CSkills Awards logo on SSP materials

We would like to reassure everyone our non-regulated Site Safety Plus (SSP) courses will remain part of CITB, following our decision to sell CSkills Awards to NOCN.

All SSP centres continue to be approved centres. You will shortly notice the CITB logo replacing the CSkills Awards logo on all SSP certificates. We will gradually update and re-issue all relevant centre documentation.

Please remove any CSkills Awards logos you have in use in relation to SSP by 1 August 2017. Guidelines explaining where and how you are able to use the CITB logo for SSP courses were recently emailed to all SSP centres.

If you would like to read more about the sale of CSkills Awards to NOCN you can read our press release.
