CITB's Trailblazer Apprenticeship Fund

Funding for Higher Level Trailblazer Apprenticeships

Training and upskilling is a vital part of our support to industry

Our new Trailblazer Apprenticeship fund is a transitional measure to support employers who are taking the lead on investing in higher level Trailblazer Apprenticeships.

Currently, we do not provide financial support to higher level Trailblazers (Levels 4-7). However, from May 2016, eligible employers embarking on higher level Trailblazers will be able to apply for funding from CITB. What's more, these funding applications can be backdated to September 2015, in line with the academic year.

Please note that our Trailblazer Apprenticeship fund is intended as a transitional support measure until full details about the Government's plans for future Apprenticeship funding are known.
