We pay grants for the achievement of approved plant training courses and qualifications.
These courses and qualifications include:
- specific plant-related vocational qualification (VQ) units
- the theory and practical elements of standard or advanced technical tests for approved plant card schemes.
Note: the published rates for plant training and testing for 2018/19 are subject to a review with industry over the coming months. Over this period, CITB will be engaged with employers and federations to develop a grants model for the plant sector.
