We pay grants for the achievement of approved short-period qualifications (which take less than one year to complete) that are focused on the core construction skills needed across the industry.

Qualifications can be delivered in a number of ways as defined within the approved standard, including:

Until that system is in place, you should submit a claim form with evidence of your short-period qualification achievement by 30 June 2019. However, this deadline is subject to change pending the automation of Short-period qualification grants.

If you are claiming for a qualification which is no longer supported in the 2018/2019 Grants Scheme year but has been achieved before 31 July 2018, you should complete this claim form by 31 October 2018.
