The project is a pilot to train construction workers on the ‘Assured Performance Process’, a methodology produced by the National Energy Foundation.

Modules will be developed in: Induction for Assured Performance Process sites, delivering performance onsite fabrics trades; delivering performance onsite services trades, site management for assured energy performance.

This will develop into a training programme which can be used to train construction workers on other Assured Performance Process projects.

Project summary:

The project will develop a 'Carbon Coach Course', this course will be a comprehensive skills programme for construction apprenticeships, introducing the topic of carbon reduction and best practice energy management to attendees.

The project will equip the industry to respond to the 2025 objective 'Driving Carbon out of the Built Environment 2025'.

Project summary:

The project will build expertise in senior management through the IEMA Accredited Environmental Awareness course and use this expertise to develop and deploy be-spoke short-duration courses.

The training will adopt a modular structure to target particular specialisms.  Developing modules rather than block courses allows the company to efficiently target specific job roles and remove non-essential content not relevant to the audience.

After the project the environmental awareness course will be developed and freely available upon request.  10 employers will have received the benefit of the training.

Project summary:

The project will deliver a bespoke skills academy in the east end of Glasgow. This facility will have a range of activities delivered on the premises, which will include SVQ level 2 roofing & tiling award, a new learning module developed in partnership with CITB and our local college. The Academy will be able to respond to training GMG registered apprentices at very short notice, ie when the weather is inclement and they are sent off site.
