This will develop into a training programme which can be used to train construction workers on other Assured Performance Process projects.

The training will adopt a modular structure to target particular specialisms. Developing modules rather than block courses allows the company to efficiently target specific job roles and remove non-essential content not relevant to the audience.
After the project the environmental awareness course will be developed and freely available upon request. 10 employers will have received the benefit of the training.

This facility will have a range of activities delivered on the premises, which will include SVQ level 2 roofing & tiling award, a new learning module developed in partnership with CITB and our local college. The Academy will be able to respond to training GMG registered apprentices at very short notice, ie when the weather is inclement and they are sent off site.
